Years ago, I was working for few Multinational Companies as a Marketing Communications Manager to develop corporate plans & market company products to local & overseas business partners. In addtion, I had to manage media relations with journalists, magazine editors, IDA, IE Singapore etc to gain maximum exposure for the company. The fruitful experiences had given me the confidence to step into a different arena years later - Real Estate industry, albeit now I'm dealing with a different product- Houses. I have never looked back since.
In this competitive environment, having an understanding of the industry is important. To have your clients' trust & belief in you, a good interpersonal skill & good working attitude is definitely a pre-requisite. I am appreciative of my existing clients who have kept recommending their friends & relatives to me. Thank You Very Much for Your Confidence in me!
I love my job, enjoy the process of helping my buyers buy their dream home, enjoy seeing the happy face when my seller saw the record prices I have achieved for them. Everyday is a different but enriching experience!
This industry is largely unregulated. I would say to the buyers, sellers, landlords & tenants out there, PLS CHOOSE YOUR AGENTS WISELY.
*I don't believe in sales pitches I believe in straightforward explanations. Clients are smart enough to make their own decisions as they can access to much pertinent information everywhere now (friends, tv, news etc). Hiding, misleading, not disclosing information aren't going to help you find the right home or sell the one you have. They won't help me earn an income either.
*I specialise in residential sales, purchase and rental I am skilled in negotiating the best price and terms for my clients, whether in HDB or private residential.
*I am definitely not the stereotype of real estate agents I know people are trusting me to help them with one of the biggest decisions they would make in their lifetime and that is something I take it very seriously. There are many bad stereotypes of real estate agents who disappear or don't provide after-sales service after receiving their commission. I work very hard to ensure that people realize they don't apply to all agents, especially not me. My influx of referrals is one of the good testament.
In today's market, you need someone who knows what they're doing and will work hard to get the job done. My knowledge of the real estate market, experience, negotiating skills, and ability to listen to clients' needs and desires without imposing my own deadlines or demands keeps me ahead of my competition.
